Olymbec’s 40th Anniversary

Olymbec was founded in 1975 by the late Edward Stern.

Edward immigrated to Canada from Israel in 1954 when he was 24 years old with very little money in his pocket.  Edward pumped gas and drove taxis until he had enough money to buy a piece of farmland in Repentigny where he eventually built 400 homes.  Edward was a man with a vision and slowly he began purchasing real estate throughout Québec. Eventually his sons Derek and Richard helped him build Olymbec into a company that, 40 years later, now employs over 300 people and has a portfolio of 250 properties and growing.
