11th Annual Café Southside Toy & Food Drive
Olymbec employees filled an entire truck with non-perishable food, clothing, toys and more for Montrealers in need.
This past weekend, Olymbec attended Café Southside’s 11th Annual Toy & Food Drive in the borough of Saint-Leonard, which is the largest of its kind in Montreal. Each year, this charity initiative grows more than the year before and its success makes a considerable impact in the community that it serves.
Our head office in Montreal came together for a second time to collect non-perishable food items, clothes and toys to give away. Thanks to everyone’s hard work and generosity during this month, an entire truck was filled with over 3,600 items. The Café Southside event collected items that filled three trucks in total. All donations go to the Welcome Hall Mission; a Montreal charity program that supports Montrealers. They offer programs to support the homeless, families and at-risk mothers and youth.
Once again, we thank all those who contributed and helped us make a difference in the lives of Montrealers.
