Olymbec is proud to sponsor the 9th Annual Slashing Crohn’s and Colitis Ball Hockey Tournament, a standout event that brings together the community for a great cause. Since its inception in 2014, this event, organized by Generation C, has been a fun-filled day of ball hockey with friends, family, and coworkers, all while raising vital funds for Crohn’s and Colitis Canada.

Crohn’s and Colitis Canada is the leading national volunteer-based charity dedicated to finding cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. The organization has invested over $155 million in research since 1974, making significant breakthroughs in areas such as genetics, gut microbes, inflammation, and cell repair.

Generation C, the young adult division of Crohn’s and Colitis Canada in Quebec, plays a key role in organizing this event. Formed by young adults whose lives have been impacted by Crohn’s and/or ulcerative colitis, Generation C aims to raise both awareness and funds for IBD research.

As a proud sponsor of this meaningful event, Olymbec is not only supporting the cause but also actively participating with our very own hockey team.
