Olymbec joins the fight against Cancer at the 2025 Défi Canderel
On Thursday, May 8th, 2025, a team of enthusiastic Olymbec employees proudly participated in the 2.5K Défi Canderel charity run, held at Molson Percival Stadium in Montreal.
The Défi Canderel was founded in 1989 by Jonathan Wener, as a personal response to his wife’s cancer diagnosis. What began as one man’s challenge has grown into a powerful, community-driven movement that has raised millions in support of cutting-edge cancer research.
By joining this meaningful initiative, Olymbec stands in solidarity with the thousands of families and individuals affected by cancer, and supports the incredible work being done in Montreal to advance treatments and save lives.
The event was a moment of energy, unity, and commitment, and we are proud to have run not just in kilometers, but in purpose.
